Singapore Petroleum sold to PetroChina

spc_logoAlthough Singapore Petroleum(SPC)  is mainly known as a refiner and distributor of petroleum products, it has interests in 10 oil and gas fields. Yet, despite Temasek Holdings saying that its future focus would be to increase weightage of natural resources in its portfolio, it agreed to Keppel Corporation’s sale of SPC to PetroChina.     Singapore is not just painted as a proxy for China. It IS a proxy for China. That’s why Falun Gong protestors in Singapore are arrested, why the Tiananmen event was originally banned, and why a lot of westerners think Singapore is part of China. I’m beginning to think that it is part of China too.
